About This Initiative
Black Breastfeeding Week is a dedicated week to highlight the challenges and successes of Black breastfeeding families. This annual celebration takes place during the last week of August, as part of National Breastfeeding Month.
Through community events, educational workshops, and advocacy efforts, we aim to address the racial disparities in breastfeeding rates and maternal health outcomes for Black families.
